Intensive Outpatient Program

At Forest View Hospital, we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for adults and adolescents, as well as an eating disorder program. The goal of our IOPs are stabilization, supportive increased therapy and the development of positive skills. Some of the signs and symptoms of mental health disorders we treat are:

  • Depression
  • Mood disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Trauma history
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Self-harm behaviors
  • Eating disorders

Our Programs

Forest View Hospital offers an adult IOP and an adolescent IOP, as well as an Eating Disorder Program.

Adult IOP

Our adult IOP (18+) takes place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. either in-person or virtually.

Adolescent IOP

Our adolescent IOP (13+) takes place Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am. to 12:30 p.m. either in-person or virtually. Lunch is provided.

Eating Disorder Program (TEAL)

Our eating disorders outpatient program (TEAL) takes place Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. either in-person or virtually. Lunch and snacks are provided.

Who should attend an IOP?

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) from Forest View Hospital can bridge the gap between acute care and individual therapy, can be an alternative for inpatient treatment or serve as a step-down from residential or acute mental health treatment.
