Inpatient psychiatric treatment at Forest View Hospital is designed for children, adolescents and adults who are at risk to themselves or others, who require crisis intervention and stabilization and are unable to function at home, school or in a less restrictive setting. Our inpatient programs provide individual units for children, adolescents and adults, and individualized treatment for each patient. Forest View’s inpatient program provides a secure and structured therapeutic environment that emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to individual challenges and issues. Specific treatment groups include psychodrama, medication education, drug awareness and prevention, discharge planning, body movement, social skills training and psychoeducational groups.
