The Partial Hospital Program is a structured plan of intensive psychiatric treatment designed for the persons who are able to remain in the community while participating in treatment. Individuals may be admitted directly to the Partial Hospital Program or upon discharge from the inpatient unit.
The Partial Hospital Program operates Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Lunch is included.
The goal of the Partial Hospital Program is first of all, to prevent the worsening of psychiatric symptoms and then to assist the person to be able to return to full participation in the community. The treatment is practical and solution focused and includes most of the same programming that is provided in the inpatient setting.

Group therapy is an essential part of treatment in the Partial Hospital Program. Groups are specially designed to assist each person to return to meaningful participation in both the family and community.
